How to Sign Up for Local Singles Events

There are two RSVP Options to sign up for events:

  1. RSVP directly through this website, event tab: This is a NEW Option!
    localsingles.me

  2. RSVP through Meetup:
    meetup.com/localsingles-me/

Because RSVPs are coming in through both platforms, the total number of attendees will be higher than what you may see listed on either site individually.

Please note:

  • Localsingles.me is always free to join

  • Meetup offers free and paid membership options; however, if you choose the free option, Meetup will constantly ask you to upgrade to a paid membership. A paid meetup membership is not required to RSVP to our events.

We share our events on multiple platforms to welcome new faces and grow our community. ​

What Does it Cost to Attend?

Local Singles event entry is $5+. This small contribution helps offset the time, planning, and out-of-pocket costs involved in creating these experiences.

The goal of each event is to bring singles together in meaningful, in-person ways, to build community, friendships, and connections. For many, one conversation or connection can be life-changing, and the value of showing up far outweighs the cost.

Occasionally, some events may have a higher entry fee due to venue or activity expenses. Any additional cost is always clearly listed and used solely to cover event expenses.

Your support helps keep Local Singles accessible, sustainable, and focused on what matters most: connection, happiness, and community.

Additional Information on Meet Up Membership

Meetup will often prompt you to upgrade to a paid membership, you do NOT need to pay to join Local Singles or RSVP to events.

​

If Meetup asks you to pay or start a trial:

  1. Tap “Not now”, “Skip”, or “Maybe later”

  2. Look carefully for “Continue without upgrading”

  3. Close pop-ups using the X if needed

  4.  You can safely skip all payment prompts.

  5. Join Local Singles, it's free

  6. Open an event and click attend/RSVP

  7. Some events on rare occasions, may have a listed event fee, this is set by the organizer, not Meetup​​​​​
